Christchurch Concert

Stocksbridge Junior School Choir were given the fantastic opportunity to sing at Christchurch in Stocksbridge on Saturday 23rd April. They performed at a sold out concert alongside Bolsterstone Male Voice Choir and Worrall Male Voice Choir. The concert was a huge success, Stocksbridge Junior School sounded fantastic and they even received a standing ovation! Well done to the choir!

Young Voices 2016

On Monday 18th January, 28 children from Stocksbridge Junior School Choir and 4 staff attended Young Voices at Sheffield Arena. We had a fantastic day, were involved in an amazing concert and worked very hard to show off all the songs and dance moves we had been learning. Well done to all those involved!












Stocksbridge Pantomime Treat

It was an exciting afternoon at Stocksbridge High School today, with every child from SJS heading down to watch the Christmas pantomime.  We were entertained by a wonderful production of Jack and the Beanstalk.  There were plenty of opportunities for children and teachers to get involved in the story, as you can see from the pictures below.








Choir at Christmas

The School Choir have been very busy in the build up to Christmas.
They have been out and about singing at Bolsterstone Church, at Co-op and at Alpine Lodge.
We also entertained visitors to the School Christmas Fair.

On the 20th March, Y4SS and Y5HK spent a day at Sheffield University learning some songs and sign language.
