Year 6 have spent today at the Lifewise Centre in Hellaby, Rotherham.
They have been learning some important life skills and how to keep themselves safe in different situations.  The children took part in a variety of scenarios including: fire safety and arson; bus and road safety; Internet safety; peer pressure; retail crime; alcohol awareness and first aid.  All of the activities were interactive and effectively delivered many important messages.  The children also had the opportunity to meet members of the emergency services and other organisations dedicated to helping young people to make sensible and safe life choices.
