Our Community

Stocksbridge is a small town and civil parish situated approximately 10 miles north of the City of Sheffield, in South Yorkshire, England. Nestling at the edge of the Pennines and the Peak District National Park, Stocksbridge has a population of 17,120 (2014).   The town is located in the steep-sided valley of the Little Don River, below the Underbank Reservoir.

The Town Council covers three areas, namely Stocksbridge, Deepcar and Bolsterstone, and is part of the City Council's Stocksbridge and Upper Don Ward.
