Our ParentMail email seems to be stuck in a queue of the many schools clearly scrambling to communicate with their parents!  Here’s a copy of the information in the email:

Following the announcement of schools moving to remote learning with immediate effect, it is necessary for us to react swiftly this evening to identify children of critical workers. ONLY children of critical workers and those children identified as vulnerable are permitted to access educational settings from tomorrow morning. ALL other children must remain at home and access their learning remotely.

Please see the list of critical workers on the GOV.UK website. If your child is eligible to attend, please immediately email l.ross@stocksbridge-jun.sheffield.sch.uk to let us know that your child qualifies for a place during this latest lockdown. Please include in the email your child’s name, class, parents’ professions and the days required.

All other children will now need to access their learning remotely via Seesaw, which will be available from 10:30am tomorrow and during normal school hours thereafter.

We will be in touch again soon but for now, please stay safe.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Ross
