This week, team Stocksbridge took part in a cricket festival at Stocksbridge Cricket Club. We had trained up 3 teams to give as many children as we could the opportunity to take part and experience a competitive game. Wharncliffe Side, Deepcar and St Annes all brought 3 teams which made for a very exciting and enjoyable afternoon. All teams played some great cricket, taking good catches and hitting some 4’s and big 6’s. The 3 players of the tournament was Tyler, Harry and Lily for their great attitudes and effort but it was a real team effort all round. Well done.
