Today, we had our annual Stocksbridge Cluster Fun Run taking place throughout the day at Stocksbridge Junior School. Children from the Infants took part during the morning and all KS2 classes at SJS had the opportunity during the afternoon. This was purely for fun and to encourage our young people to enjoy being active and understand the role physical activity has on our overall health and wellbeing. It will supplement some of the learning that has been taking place during their P.E lessons and hopefully be a enjoyable experience. Links School Sports Partnership hosted the event with the support of our newly qualified team of Y6 Sports Leaders and took place on our top field. Thank you to the staff and volunteers from Stocksbridge Infant School for bringing up their children and well done to everyone for giving it a real good go.
