Our School Timings
Members of the Senior Leadership Team greet children at the school gate from 8:35am. On arrival, children should make their way directly to their classroom.
Registers are taken at 8:40am.
The school day ends at 3:10pm. Parents are welcome to meet their child on the school yard. The gate will open for parents at 3:00pm.
The total time the official school day amounts to in a typical week is 32.5 hours.
Y3/4
- Morning Session: 8:40am – 12:00pm (Break 10:30am – 10:50am)
- Lunch: 12:00 – 12:45pm
- Afternoon Session: 12:45pm – 3:10pm
Y5/6
- Morning Session: 8:40am – 12:15pm (Break 10:40am – 11:00am)
- Lunch: 12:15pm – 1:00pm
- Afternoon Session: 1:00pm – 3:10pm
Cedar Road
We would like to remind parents to park considerately (i.e. not to block the driveways of residents on Cedar Road) and even more importantly, for the safety of our pupils, to avoid parking or even pulling over on the yellow school markings.
Our crossing patrol warden, Jim, is on duty on Cedar Road at the beginning and the end of the school day. It is important that children cross with the Crossing Warden even when accompanied by an adult.
Access to the school car park is difficult and there are a limited number of spaces during the school day. Parents are politely requested to park considerately on Cedar Road rather than use the school car park.
