Last Friday 8th December we joined in to be a part of this years National Santa Dash 2023. This is for all schools across the country to join together in organising a fun run/walk around our playgrounds, similar to the daily mile. We know that short bursts of physical activity helps our children to focus and concentrate in their learning and by taking part in the same event on the same day, the hope was that our pupils felt that they were part of a bigger initiative. We had some really cold and wet conditions but it did not put our children off and we all enjoyed being outside in the fresh air and enjoying some healthy physical activity in the name of Christmas. Well done to our pupils for giving it a go and doing it with a smile!
