Over the last 3 weeks, we have had the opportunity in collaboration with the Sheffield Hatters to have professional athletes into school and lead our Year 5 children in a curriculum enrichment programme. This included free coaching for all the children, workshops that tackle issues around bullying and self esteem and entry into a special event early next year. The competition will be held at the Canon Medical Arena in February and we will receive some free tickets for the Sheffield Sharks V Bristol Flyers game. This is a charity funded initiative for only 4 schools in Sheffield, so we are incredibly lucky and g grateful to have this opportunity.
