A great TEAM performance!
After an incredible performance in the Links Partnership Finals last month, SJS athletics team were back in action in the Sheffield Finals against the top 8 schools in the City. It was a fantastic achievement to reach the City finals for the 2nd year in succession and we gave it our all. Every member of the team had to run in 2 running races and compete in one of the field events such as speed bounce, throw or jump. All the points are tallied together for the final score, so every point counts. We finished in a very respectable 7th position in a very competitive event. Well done to every member of the team and thank you to Mrs Gaymond and Miss Sheehan for all your hard work training the team on a Friday afternoon down at the Stocksbridge Leisure Centre. A great TEAM performance!
