On Thursday 9th February, 48 pupils and 6 members of staff travelled to the Utilita Arena in Sheffield to take part in Young Voices. What an amazing day we had! We had a busy afternoon rehearsing all the songs we had been practising since September and then were part of the incredible concert in the evening. Heather Small from M People was the special guest and we were all very excited to have the opportunity to sing ‘Proud’ with her. Singing with over 5000 other children from other schools was amazing and an experience we will never forget. All 48 pupils from Stocksbridge Junior School behaved impeccably and we are so proud of the effort they put in learning all the songs in rehearsals and on the day itself.
